Overlake Country Club

Overlake Golf and Country Club, a 15,000 square-foot clubhouse
facility, contains a restaurant, banquet and meeting rooms, library, pro shop, locker rooms, grass terrace and outdoor plazas which provide for large gatherings and golf-course viewing.

The building features a porte cachere, copper roofing, shingled siding, flag pole with a monument sign base and raised-face CMU garden wall planters.
 

The clubhouse facility is anchored by the retention of a mature 60-foot Blue Atlas Cedar tree, which compliments the building scale, screens a service area access drive, and blocks the view from NE
16th street, the site’s main entry drive. The building’s entrance is accented by pockets of seasonal flowers, the ‘Pure White’ flowering star Magnolia, formal rows of Katsura and Hinoki Cypress trees, Euonymus, Evergreen Azaleas, and Bow Bells Rhododendrons. These plants direct the eye to raised planters and Japanese Maples at the building entrance.
 

The parking lot is softened and shaded with Raywood Ash trees, which are low maintenance and provide outstanding fall color. seasonal flowers border a glass terrace off the bar and restaurant, while a dense flowering shrub separates diners from golfers, ensuring a relaxing experience for both.

The landscape theme is intended to blend into the golf course with future construction phases of the site.
